As much as I hate this take, it’s kinda true, but at the same time if you know their age when thirsting it’s a bit weird because it’s the same concept as “well they look mature for their age”

People hate this take but it’s true. As cartoon characters, there’s no way to meaningfully tell what age a character is other than what the author says. Like come on, there is no way anyone unfamiliar with Jojo is guessing that this mf is 17.

Correct take even though explaining it’s always a bit weird, I just imagine it like most high school live action shows where they have adults play high schoolers so they can include that stuff 🤷‍♂️ also gets rid of any loli logic workarounds since going by the age anime characters look, they’re drawn as kids so there’s no justifying it

It’s not the same concept tho. Those are real minors while these fictional characters don’t look their age also most don’t act their age. If it’s like actually set in high school I see the problem. Like the mc from hells paradise is 16 but doesn’t act or look 16.
