I think it was the 3rd for me, and I loved it so much that it’s still my favorite to this day so idk about that

Totally personal opinion on my part. I am thankful to had watched years of anime up to the point I first watched SK. It’s fantastic but incredibly meta in a way that having the wide frame of reference enhanced my enjoyment.

I can believe that, even with my previous contradictory comment. You’ll either enjoy it or not. It’s a special kind of show, personally. I’m not surprised it doesn’t reach everyone, it’s a certain kind of humor. The writing amuses me but the voice acting itself sorta carries the show.
