Sao is a very basic harem/action show with bad writing. There is quite a bit of fanservice, and also some sexual assault, which is not handled well

tbh depends what ur looking for in a show. like above, if ur looking for quality it's not the best choice, but it is a staple in the anime community and a fun watch if u like fantasy regardless. granted i only watched the first season like 10 yrs ago but it was v formative in my interest in anime so personally it's got that nostalgia factor

like nudity/innuendos/sexual comedy. nothing explicit but naruto's sexy jutsu would be an example. anime heavy with fan service are called ecchi and that borders explicit
