Yeah I think I got most of it. The only thing I’m confused about is why he said “what are those beings that look like humans?” My guess is that because he was in Adolla when he jumped back in time, he saw everyone’s doppelgängers instead of humans

Basically 250 years before the first great cataclysm the world is literally our world. He was confused because the humans looked like us and not anime characters. Our world is the prequel to fire force 😭

And then he wakes up different because I’m guessing his doppelgänger took over his body or something for a while, and I’m guessing Iris had her ignition wake up because it’s been pretty obvious that she’s either Amaterasu’s doppelgänger or vice versa and Adolla getting closer to merging with reality caused her abilities to manifest

I’m not sure what’s happening after what I told you but yes iris is very obviously closely related to Amaterasu at the absolute least

I’m interested to see what her power ends up being since she already used it once to help Maki completely block and negate Dragon’s attack when he was trying to wipe out the 8th, so it seems pretty powerful as a supporting ability

Assuming it’s most likely something luck based that’s activated through prayer or faith like fuuko from undead unluck except her powers are bad luck and activates through touch too
