The other thing is, secretariat is respected in Japan, but he’s not the living myth he is in America. He never raced in Japan, he has no real ties to Japan even as a sire, it just doesn’t make a ton of sense for him to appear. HOWEVER, I think they absolutely should at least mention Sunday Silence, who is the father of: silence Suzuka, Agnes tachyon, stay gold, special week, deep impact, and Daiwa major, and is the grandfather of: orfèvre, gold ship, daiwa scarlet, etc.
