I wish fight scenes weren’t so overhyped/endlessly praised, I mean THEYRE COOL but animation is so much more interesting than fights, and for anime it’s usually the best looking scene out of the whole show

I’m saying I wish more anime pumped budget into their character animation overall instead of one flashy fight scene. You ever seen a classic Disney movie? Where every part of a characters body moves with life and realistic weight? Ever seen Milt Kahl animate a characters head bobbling? THAT is animation to me, so much more engaging and memorable. I know it’s too much to expect from tv animation but yeah I wanna see better looking cartoons 😁

I have to disagree. I never finished but got a decent way in and the character animations were nice and pretty here and there, but still lacking the life like total body movement I’m talking about. Every talking animation is 2-3 frames of mouth flaps. Tv animation rarely meets the standards I’m thinking of
