Seinen is very much different than shounen. Seinen is much more mature and dark (cause it’s made for adult men) while shounen is more bright and consumable (cause it’s made for teen boys)

Maybe I’m so passionate because Seinen is my fav and shounen is one of my least favorites. Anyways, I get the mix up. Just do an in-depth comparison of shounen v Seinen and maybe you’ll see a lot of differences in themes, tone, and characters
