Don’t get me wrong the world building is amazing just I simply don’t understand how every love interest looks or IS a child when it’s not needed.

Yeah, I definitely see how that can be a barrier for people. For me, it's like ok, some of this is interesting cause your giving him GIANT FUCKING FLAWS which means he has a lot of room to grow. But also the show seems to expect me to have some of his same flaws and then puts things in a way that is weird if you're not *into that*

Ok but in this specific show he quite literally is into a "loli" girl who he believes to be underage and another girl who's kind of his cousin who DEFINITELY IS underage while he still has his fully adukt consciousness despite his child body

Then just don’t watch the show. Idk what to tell you guys. If I stopped watching anime bc the mc was a weirdo in his past life or I just didnt like them bc they looked funny, idk if I could enjoy anime. He has a lot of great character growth that should be commended. He overcame adversity, on multiple fronts, to live a life in an entirely new world successfully. Idg a damn about his creepy past bc it’s almost entirely irrelevant

I think it’s a great show but it’s not just his past we are speaking about. Since he was 10 years old (still the mind of a 40 year old) he has been lusting over a child. Then continues to go after child like characters. It’s not just him it’s some other characters too that just always happens to go after children. And like I said I did stop watching the show.
