It’s absolutely terrifying! The job market is in the gutter! I really hope you’re in an MD/pHD program because that’s just about what will make you competitive for current “entry level jobs”.

same as any field? I mean my dream is to be an actor but I’ve got backup plans in screen writing and light design. tons of jobs behind the scenes. plus it doesn’t matter thaaaat much what your undergrad major is if all else fails. my dad works in risk management and majored in womens studies.

Not sure if you are a troll account or just a really crappy person but seriously, people study what they love or want to study, it doesn’t mean they will fail, you don’t know where the path might lead you. There are successful people in performing arts, you know that right?
