Yeah that sucks you shouldn’t go back or talk to him really but it’s ok to miss the relationship or the good parts of him

I can relate. What's complicated is we're still rly good friends. We recognize a relationship won't work but I dread the day either one of us has to choose between each other and a partner. Unfortunately that's probably how it'd have to go and honestly to me that'd be even more devastating than losing our formerly deteriorating relationship

But yeah don't let that bad experience sour your view of everyone else. Be careful but try not to put future partners at a distance bc of it
