i relate to this so much like i don’t understand why this society is obsessed with rushing right into the sexual stuff before even actually getting to know each other and trust each other and have a friendship bond first :( I always somehow end up getting into rushed relationships and it just feels wrong to dive into all of that without getting to fall in love and be loved as well and it just really sucks

perhaps talk to any future partners about this? i’m pretty up front with people when we start dating that i like to take things slow physically so that we establish an emotional connection first
