I feel anxious about being behind in life. I just graduated from college, but I still live with my parents. I’m barely getting my drivers license, I just got a part time job. I feel like a kid, like I’m embarrassed. Like I’ll get to my dreams at like 40.

Now imagine feeling that way in ten years. You still might, but you can make progress bit by bit day by day <3 good luck to you

You definitely aren't behind. Many full time “entry level” jobs are so much harder to get and so many of them already want experience despite it supposedly being entry level. Additionally, wages haven't gone up to match the cost of living. So many people are in your position, with me personally knowing many. That isn't to say your feelings are invalid but more so to say that you aren't alone and that there are completely valid reasons to try not to compare yourself to prior generations.

Never feel bad about living with your parents in this economy. The housing crisis is real and you should be proud to be under their roof if they’re ok with it because paying like 3k monthly in rent is not worth it or humane. Live with them as long as your able until you’re financially stable
