You gotta drive- you can start slow in an empty parking lot (when I first started I literally wouldn’t press the gas at all- just let it roll and hit the brake and eventually I built up confidence in myself and started hitting the gas more and more and then I started on non-busy residential streets and worked up to more busy roads and then highways and now I’ve had my license for 4 years and I like driving for the most part)

don’t laugh at me but looking over my shoulder scares me so much and then i always center myself instead of the entire lane in the car, i need to stop that the most

Understandable yeah So i personally don’t have the issue with looking over my shoulder although I find I rely more on my mirrors But I can suggest something for the centering the car- so if you’re driving on a road if you put the yellow line kind of where the middle of the dashboard or the white dotted line in the corner of the windshield (both should happen simultaneously) the car should be relatively centered in the lane

A lot of long time drivers don’t shoulder check, it’s necessary to know because it’s the law and you’ll need to do it during your exam but after that I notice that a lot of just everyday drivers don’t do it
