Another reason why it’s dangerous to have outdoor cats. Limiting certain plant species (like lilies) indoors is one thing, but you can’t control if someone a few houses down is growing lilies or any other plant that’s highly toxic to cats in their front yard

Luckily Peruvian Lillies (parents actually lilies, the plant itself is called alstroemeria) are cheaper, look similar, come in more colors, are able to be purchased at most grocery stores, and aren’t toxic to cats
