Yeah I moved in like a day or 2 later than most of the other people and it feels like everyone already has friend groups made and I’m just floating around. I’ll try to talk to people or groups but they usually just kind of ignore me and it feels super awkward actually trying to make any friends.

Yes!! Senior year and it’s terrible, everyone keeps saying don’t worry you’ll find your group, it’s been 3 years and nothing

I feel the exact same way. I've been here for a week and I haven't managed to find a proper group of people to hang out with. I get that it's only the first week of classes, but it's honestly causing me a lot of self confidence issues. I really do love talking to people and making new friends, but seeing so many people already finding friend groups makes me feel like I'll never find one. Plus, Everytime I try to join conversations I always get ignored

See I’ve got some really good friends…but then it always seems to be me reaching out to initiate activities, and whenever we’re not in the same place we just lose contact. I just don’t feel close with anyone…or I guess it’s like they’re my close friends but maybe I’m not theirs 😞
