I’m 27, I was on lexapro to start with and it worked well, only had issues in the first two or three weeks then when I got dosage upped. I was on the max, 20mg , but after a few years maybe 4 I noticed it was not doing the same for me anymore. Lexapro and Wellbutrin here! I would recommend them! Omg they have changed my life, and I actually want to go do things. Just a note: just because lexapro works for me, it may not work for you! I was on Prozac and it made me really depressed, you’re gonna have to try it out!

I love my lexapro, I’ve been on it for about a year and I can do all the small things I used to always get panic attacks about. I did gain weight on them tho but that’s different for everyone

I can also vouch for lexapro- it’s a rather intense medication and it doesn’t work for everyone but it works really well for me. It’s the only reason I’m able to function day to day

Just requested a new appt to discuss increasing my dosage again. Definitely gonna be a process for you to learn what works for you if the first pick doesn’t. And often times it doesn’t

+1 for Zoloft One thing I’d add is talk to your doctor about the tapering off process. Have a plan for if you come off of it.
