Is a woman being a "Daddy's Girl" a red flag for men the same way it is if a man is a "Momma's Boy" for women?

I think a good relationship with her dad where she’s still independent is a huge green flag, but still clinging to him like a child is a red one. So yeah basically the same as dudes and their moms. Because dude with mommy ISSUES is usually not good and neither is the guy who’s a mama’s boy and can’t step 10 feet without his mom’s guidance.

Tbh I love a daddy’s girl or a mommas boy. To me if you have a good relationship with your parents that’s a green flag. I feel like social media has twisted it into some obsessive clingy or even sexualized relationship when that’s rarely the case.

Parental relationships just absolutely have a golden middle ground regardless of which sex you are or which parent it is

i wouldn't say rarely the case, they both have been around before social media. You're right abt having a good relationship with your parents, but often times a "Daddy's Girl" is just something people call spoiled and stuck up girls whose dads never said no to them, and a "momma's boy" is typically a man who always had his mom do everything for him and doesn't know how to take care of himself. They both don't know that it's a issue with their character bc or their upbringing.

My point is that before social media the definition of a daddy’s girl is a daughter who has a close affectionate bond with her dad, and a mommas boy is a boy who appreciates his mom and her emotional support.

it definitely wasn't. i said those terms existed AND meant what i said they did before social media. i literally have heard my parents using both of them and they don't even have social media. it might be used in the context when talking abt actual kids but if you hear somebody calling an adult a daddy's girl or momma's boy it's not a good thing.
