1. I don’t like people using sex as a reward/punishment but to meet you in the middle I will. If the man did something outside of sex (not cleaning dishes/not opening doors) after being ASKED and AGREEING to do those things and that’s where the upset is coming from then it’s a punishment. If the man did something during sex that upset her that would be a she’s not feeling comfortable to have sex anymore.

#1’s answer is spot on. In this situation, it totally feels like she is either not interested in having sex due to what happened, or it is a punishment for crossing a boundary of hers. Regardless of the situation, it really doesn’t matter. Sex shouldn’t be something you give to another person. It’s a thing you share.

This isnt my situation but from what I understand, what if he was talking to his ex, the woman got past it, but she just can't get herself to sleep with him anymore
