minor update: i was honest and told him it was affecting my ocd but i still do want him to go and to not feel bad. he ended up not going because the cover charge was way too high for the friends he wanted to go with and they’re going to hang at the house instead (hoping it’s not an excuse but i digress)

Do you have a friend you could call and talk to? The company could give you someone to sound off to and keep you from worrying further

discovery of his one time porn usage (which i believe to be bordering cheating and he didn’t know that) which triggered my rOCD and has caused a lot. Any advice?? i don’t want to be controlling but i don’t want to be sick in bed all night.

1. Are they gonna be sober 2. What’s your reason to believe he would cheat 3. wtf is rOCD? I thought it was only ocd. Plus I’m pretty sure that’s just genuine concern, I don’t have ocd or anything I’d still be cautious too

1. yes 2. it’s my ocd, small things trigger it and it can’t be helped and i have intrusive unrealistic thoughts that i can’t help and they become so much my brain convinces me they’re real. 3. relationship ocd, ocd has “themes” so my themes are health (mostly tokophobia aka pregnancy fear), contamination (diseases), relationship and just general mix like checking lights are turned off or that means my house will explode

He sounds sweet, I’m glad the night ended up okay and I hope they have a good time. You try to do something fun for yourself too, okay? Put on an audiobook, make a snack, watch a movie
