This is the first definition on urban dictionary. The term originated within AAVE and has roots going deep into black culture. So you're just wrong. As she's confident Kamala, doesn't fit the aesthetic therefore she isn't a baddie. Men can be confident and of course they can also fit into the aesthetic like Lil Nas X or RuPaul and other gay men and drag queens. That's what would make them a baddie. What you're talking abt is just confident, self assured people! i hope this helps!
my definition of a baddie is more style / appearance based than like attitude or personality based, like what i said to #1. an example of women i think r baddies r like meagn thee stallion or cardi b like that whole aesthetic with the long nails and big hoops. so like imo a man baddie is like a gay man lol
dawg it's not just me and its not really a trend the only reason im asking is bc i got a video reaction from another man mind saying that he's using the wrong terminology and whole video is just embarrassing and its still unclear on what he actually meant by that bc when he "explained" it he literally just described a man that gets a manis pedis 😭
like being a baddie is not the same as just being sassy and confident. the look and style plays a lot into it. usually men who are straight aren't walking around wearing four inches heels and lashes and twerking on random guys in the club. unless that's what u do then forgive me i was unaware of ur gamw
i don't really think it's a combination tho bc if that was the case then most famous women would be considered baddies like hell Kamala Harris would be considered a baddie bc she's confident and independent has a distinct personality. However, her and Cardi B have very different styles so Kamala imo isn't a baddie
imo she is. see being a baddie is style-dependent to you, its not to me. Like a random person dressed in supposed “baddie attire” in a club is not automatically a baddie if they doesn’t have the personality to match. The style is a manifestation of their confidence and they go hand-in-hand
