do yall think men tend to have overall similar-ish perceptions of a woman’s attractiveness? i was thinking about like pete davidson, who half women find really hot and half find unattractive. i couldn’t think of any female celebs as polarizing. thoughts?

I would say that plastic surgery is somewhat polarizing, although probably not to the same level. Most guys don’t really like it if it’s obvious, but at the same time usually don’t say someone is super ugly

Pete davidson is annoying and kinda gross looking but honestly i cant think of a female actor like that. Politically speaking maybe like elliot page?

I think it would be hard ot find examples of women celebs because I feel there is more pressure for women in acting and music to be conventionally attractive

Women do generally also seem to be more polarized in how they determine ugly vs attractive facially

Hence why this is the only actor who people are devided on. Some Support “her” actions other dont like me. God i love the freedom of speech

Yeah i know but in my post i regarded that if we are devided on a female actor then its probably due to politics

i think pete is polarizing but there are other examples - barry keoghan for one. and i mean yeah there’s pressure but i can still think of several famous women who are generally considered less attractive, but that again is agreed upon by most men. i just thought it was interesting yall seem more likely to agree on conventional beauty

Why would people be divided on this? Elliot page obviously isn’t an attractive woman because he isn’t a woman. He doesn’t try to look like an attractive woman, or a woman at all. The way you’re talking makes it sound like you don’t know that Elliot page transitioned into a man, not the other way around

Also, I’d advise you learn to use the comma, because while the phrase “others don’t like me” is probably an accurate thing for you to say, I think what you meant to say was: “others don’t, like me.”

Its in regards to the political differnces on transgenderism. Also i am aware of what she thinks she is not what she actually is. Also you are correct about what i meant to say. Yik yak discussions arnt worth the time and effort of puncuation, grammar or spelling.

You put “her” in quotes so I would assume you didn’t even know. How is trans politics even related anyway, this is about physical attraction to women, don’t randomly throw transphobia into an unrelated discussion.
