Cats clearly do

As number 1 said, cats appear to do it critically, often. Dogs do it in a manner that is more compassionate. Really any pack animal is judging the members of its pack/tribe/social group by their abilities to continue to the groups goal whether that be hunting/gathering/farming or conquering.

They most certainly do, cows like me more than they like my friend (he is rude to the babies)
