This is more of an advice, but USE FEMALE ACNE STUFF! My bf has bad acne and he always used the men’s things, but once we moved in together he started to use mine and his skin cleared up a lot. Like guys, listen to women when it comes to skincare.

Oh also if you’re someone who wears hats a lot make sure you deep clean them every now and then! It causes greasy hair and forehead break outs/blackheads!

Did a little clinical derm research back in the day, I’d say women tend to have a better grasp of skincare than men, but prob spot test more complicated treatments outside basic face wash/moisturizer like acids on the inside of your forearm at the elbow before your face to make sure you don’t have a bad reaction. Try figuring out your skin type and look up which things work well for your type too

Question, I don’t really have any acne my skin is pretty naturally clear, but I was wondering if girls still use stuff to make their skin more smooth? I always hear them talking about how smooth other peoples skin is, I think it’d be cool to be like that

Ik like ours might be more expensive but I use an app to make sure it’s clean ingredients and that’s why it works so good as well as research to target what I need. I fr don’t get anything unless I don’t keep up with my laundry for my bedding and that’s it.

Yes! Women do often do stuff to make our skin more smooth. Do you do anything already?

Moisturizer and SPF!! Look for ones with salicylic acid!

I also like to use serums (certain ones target certain things, so some can help with tone, aging, etc) and a roller.

Do you have any other tips for things women use that guys should be using to increase our overall appearance

It could be 50/50? I mean coming from moving in with a “mom and also best friend gf” that could be yes, but we’ve been together for a year and our biggest argument was a drunk me asking why he doesn’t like me (we live together so I think he does)

YES! Okay the biggest thing is men don’t exfoliate while shaving or after shaving. Which makes things uneven. I’ve heard my brother complain about his dead skin driving him crazy.

What exactly even is exfoliating lmao

Okay exfoliating is taking something made for it and rubbing it on your skin. It takes the dead skin cells and washes it away.

I can’t stress SPF enough. Literally just buy sunscreen from dollar tree. But personally, please keep up with grooming. Going from one guy who wouldn’t cut his hair until it was very noticeably overgrown to someone who actually cares about how he looks, it’s makes a huge difference. Ik a lot of guys are like “oh this is gay” trust me, it’s more attractive to care about how you look than not care.

You can make skin safe exfoliators at home! Idk if this would be safe on face due to the oils, but do it on hands. Mix sugar and coconut oil. But there are face washes or things you can buy to help wash your face that help exfoliate the skin.

We used to grow aloe plants to keep it cheap. It was gross doing it at home but it was fun 😂

A moisturizer is always a good start! Make sure you put it on after showering and shaving. Always use shaving cream, and hydration is a big part of keeping the skin smooth.

Aloe basically smooths the skin- that’s why it’s used for sunburns! But its cooling effect can help in loads of different ways.

I always joke about peacocking in nature how animals flaunt how beautiful they are to attract mates and then human males think it’s wrong to groom themselves. Like bro, why do you think Tom Hollands umbrella is something that we love to watch? ✨Be comfortable in your masculinity✨

I used to work at a dollar tree so we had a whole beauty section. Not all of them were the best cause it’s cheap stuff so it’s not nice, but definitely taking the time to look at the stuff to see what all it had then going to different stores to get one with cleaner ingredients.

YES! Grooming and being comfortable in masculinity is so important. There’s a reason he jokes about his height. Because he’s so comfortable in himself that things don’t get to him. And part of that is being a celebrity, and another part of that is him being comfortable in himself.

My bf only dresses nice when he’s out with me, but when he’s just out with his friends he doesn’t care what he looks like. He’s fr pulled up to clubs in like a “put on last second” outfit because “I’m taken and my girl isn’t here, why does anyone need to look at me?” Take time in clothes, it’s a huge difference. I go to a college and I say all of the frat guys are just copy and pasted because it’s the same outfit and style and no one actually looks like they took time.

Also when you go out to clubs or bars, don’t only order a beer. Enjoy a fruity or sweet cocktail once in a while. No one finds a “beer only guy” attractive. It’s more attractive if you try a sip of our favorite cocktail and then you order yourself one even if you hate it because it makes us feel good 😂
