Is it attractive when a woman is into sports or does it just come off as attention seeking and “pick me” behavior? I’m so worried that people think I’m just looking for validation when I say I like football 😭

I think a major part of it is how you act. If you act like you’re a huge fan, but it’s clear you don’t really know much about it, people won’t like it. As a women you might be at a disadvantage, because guys might assume you’re pretending, but if you can list off some favorite players, teams, or whatever (I don’t know football), then I’m sure they will realize you’re a true fan.

I definitely know what I’m talking about, not to an extreme degree but I’m familiar with the game and the teams, I just didn’t know if it was seen as attractive or a red flag

I’d say any sort of shared interest is a green flag :) if I was super into something and someone expressed interest in it, I’d absolutely want to get to know them
