GENUINE SERIOUS QUESTION: What do guys think about dating apps? Why do some of them like them while others don’t? Do dating apps make relationships seem less valuable to men? Are there any positives (good or bad ones)? Hopefully that makes sense💀

They’re convenient, you see everybody who’s looking for a relationship, and it’s less stressful. However, dating apps are a rigged game for men. There’s like 3x the men on them compared to women. The majority of men can’t compete and the only ones who have success are those who are extremely attractive. Dating apps have ruined mental health in a lot of men due to the constant cycle of this. Relationships may have less value in some men when on dating apps, but I think that’s mainly towards

Don’t like the idea of them, it ruins the whole human connection part of it

I use dating apps I guess to see what I think I like without having to go out, but honestly l'd rather meet someone naturally in person. I wouldn't use a dating site/app unless as a last resort

I have nothing against them in theory, but they just don’t work for men

Guys participating in hookups or those who get a lot of attention. My rationale for this is that those who constantly have success probably don’t view relationships as deeply. It’s something that if they lose it’s no problem because they pick out the next person in line and on dating apps you could potentially have a really long line of suitors that can replace one another pretty much immediately
