The girl I’ve been dating for the past four months just blocked me out of absolutely nowhere last night on everything but phone calls/text messages. Texted her seven hours ago and no response. What do I do now?

i have no idea why someone would do this, maybe reflect on if you guys argued or something recently or if you noticed her tone change at anything that was said between you guys, other than that i have no idea besides the idea that she could’ve done something wrong on her part, def a big communication issue, but if she does end up ghosting you for no reason, don’t worry, it’ll be okay - a girl

F. I feel your pain. Exact same thing happened to me a bit ago, right down to the four months. Huh. Be weird if it was the same girl How do you know she didn’t block you on texts and phone calls?

Literally 0 knowledge as to why. We were texting like normal for the entire week and out of nowhere she blocked me. I would call her tonight but I don’t want to seem desperate. I have one of her friends added on Snapchat so I might try to check in on her through her.

Doesn’t iPhone display a message when you try to text someone who has blocked you? If her initials are DW then that’s crazy

No iirc there used to be subtle hints depending on carrier but they fixed em. That would defeat the purpose of blocking someone bc if it did that she might as well just tell you to leave her alone. The fun & cruelty of recreationally blocking someone is that the block-ee has no idea if their messages are getting through, so they keep trying. If you know you’ve been blocked, you’ll just stop, and if that was what she wanted, she’d just talk to you like an adult and a decent human. No lol, not dw
