I truly wanna understand this!! Do they really just mean they prefer natural looking makeup over makeup that is more noticeable? even if the both accentuates your natural features. Is it that guys think more makeup= hiding ugliness?

Ppl place too much emphasis on the makeup vs no makeup debate. I like both. It shows creatively and artistic talent to be able to wear and paint on makeup

The honest answer? A lot of guys probably don’t have a strong preference and just like whatever their partner likes. I don’t have a strong preference whether my girlfriend wears makeup or not, but it makes her feel better about herself, which is what actually matters

So makeup seems fine if you’re getting dressed up for an event. But for daily stuff, I think most women are 100x prettier with very light makeup. And the difference is obvious if you live together / have gone swimming / been caught in the rain

I mean.. most girls I know including myself don’t mind getting wet or going swimming for a date, I will easily put on a full face and sumerge myself under water that same day without a second thought, so the whole “take her where she will get wet” thing is kinda dumb.

More accurately you can’t tell they have makeup on at least. We’ve established that men can’t really tell the difference between light makeup and no makeup. I’m still gonna do some stuff to get ready even if I’m going swimming

It’s not that hard if you look carefully. Like if someone just took a shower, they look slightly different from when they’re leaving the house even if they don’t use a ton of makeup. Little things like eyeliner, mascara, lip gloss (or just chapstick), depending on the person But sure go ahead and generalize men

you do realize that most ppl do other stuff before swimming? we could be taking photos, getting food before, or just walking around before. it’s the same thing as styling your hair before swimming, you know it’s gonna get messed up but it’s okay but you got ready to get ready not to hide yourself.
