If I’m having someone come over to help me study (and it’s not too time pressing) I’d def be making them dinner or ordering snacks or smth, unless I’m paying them it’s the least I could do. On my end it would be completely platonic (hell I make my 100% straight roommate dinner occasionally just because I love cooking) (I am also a 100% straight man) and I would assume the same if I was the one BEING fed, but only if I knew them for a while and was sure there were no other intentions
