my landlord/roomie is asking for me to keep it above 73 in our house bc “72 is freezing” and whining about the electricity… he won’t compromise. should i just move out?
I used to keep my apartment at 64 when I had a flat utilities fee, 72 is a sauna for me

I feel woe for your winter days. It’s possible the air circulation isn’t evening the apartment out so wherever the thermostat is reading from might be cooler than the rest of the house. So its even hotter than 72

This is a really good reason to move out or discuss the temp in the house. It’s not safe for your pet if they are always having to try to cool off in the house and if he’s not okay with you lowering the temp for your pet’s sake, then that’s reason enough to find a new place
