I actually do because they like stuff similar to me, but some guys are definitely just weird about it and have no idea what the culture actually entails and they see egirls online that try to play ‘goth’ and think that it’s all the same

yikes someone’s got their chode all in a bunch. Im not personally goth but I have plenty of friends that are and I was curious as to why they experience so many guys lying about being into goths.

“Lying” Guys online saying they like goths and the fact you the guys they go after aren’t such guys has no correlation. Not all guys are the same which is why they are disappointed that their generalization isn’t reality. Hope this helps

Then how is anyone lying. Moreover where are you getting this idea that so many guys like goths if not online. Plenty of women say they like nerds. But they just mean an attractive guy in glasses. Same thing applies to your friends and why they aren’t getting what they want

In person experiences that I’ve seen while out with my friends. Guys will come up asking further numbers or socials saying that they love Goth women, but then later on after my friend sees this guy or talks to this guy he’ll back out and say Goth women aren’t really his thing or complain about the way that they dress or do their make up when that is the original thing that he said he was attracted to.
