Flirt yes, ask someone out maybe. Depends on what job, if they can spare the time for you while at work, if they’re flirting back, etc

I got flirted with while on duty and now we are dating so I’m not opposed to it but I feel like as long as it doesn’t directly disrupt the person and their work then yeah

Same could be asked about flirting or asking out a customer. There’s this guy who works at a coffee shop near me and I feel like we’ve made some flirty eye contact when I’m remote working there but I could be so wrong.

You can do so but you have to do it respectfully, and if they’re not interested you have to leave them alone. The reason this gets a bad rap is because douches use them being stuck at work as a way to effectively hold uninterested people hostage.

It really really really depends the job and the setting. A waitress and a Home Depot worker and two entirely different circumstances
