It’s not about relationships, you’re already jumping the gun. Men that get to that point receive zero attention. No likes, no prospects, no support systems, not even comments lying to him about how he’s great. The truth is there’s always gonna be a certain percentage of guys that get there, our population is that big and there aren’t enough girls to go around for every man

Ik its broader than relationships im referencing the post specifically talking about relationships. U raise rlly good points tho ab how its way deeper than just "relationships." Also how are there not enough women?

More men are born than women. Older men also date younger women more often than the other way around, so in the case of relationships, there are less single women than single men until probably the 40s. Therefore, for women-men relationships, it is impossible to have a perfect 1-1 in our age cohort (let’s say 20-30)

What ever the statistic is, it’s irrelevant when it comes to dating. A huge percentage of guys are deemed unattractive by the opposite gender, and a small percentage of them go down the doom route. Unfortunately, it’s sorta the hypergamy argument although there’s tons of nuance behind it so not 100% true. It’s like the homeless or people who commit atrocities, they’re always gonna exist

I was trying to answer how there are not enough women. I don’t really care for the statistics and don’t think attractiveness means much in the grand scheme of things. Even if attractiveness was a non-issue, the numbers simply don’t line up for a 1-1 dating pool.
