My boyfriend ALWAYS gives a warning beforehand. That way I’m able to decide in the moment what I want to do .

My boyfriend doesn’t ask anymore but that’s just because that’s what we’ve always done. If it’s a hookup and you guys didn’t talk about it then that’s a huge red flag.
