why would a guy use pics so old and not use up to date pictures on a dating app? it feels so dishonest

Idk about other guys but I rarely take pictures of myself. If I ever had to fill out a dating profile it would all be group photos.

Maybe he just enjoyed getting attention for the looks he used to have. It’s possible he never imagined he would be able to successfully deceive people

Most guys don’t take frequent pictures, and our friends rarely take photos of us. Particularly if we’re not very photogenic to begin with. No one ever takes candids of ugly or overweight guys.

It’s ultimately a judgement call, but if you look very different from when you last had photos taken and are trying to use dating apps I think you kinda owe it to the ppl ur talking to to have at least a recent selfie or mirror pic or sumn
