I think if they converted recently they’re definitely conservative but most cradle Catholics are liberal. Issue is, cradle Catholics are usually the ones who don’t go to church as often

Catholics are reliably a lot more liberal than other denominations of Christianity, the only issue where they’re really consistently conservative is abortion. So unless they’re on some single-issue voter shit, they can still go blue if they just have an issue they think is a higher priority than abortion.

I think the issue is that I am meeting mostly people who are converts because the cradle Catholics at my school are either already in relationships or just aren’t in the same circles as me so it’s not a natural to run into them
