As long as he doesn’t think you’re gonna ultimatum him or cut off the fwb-ing, it’s not a nightmare text You could make sure by leading with that. Something like; “hey I’m ok with either and I’m not gonna let the answer get in the way of our good thing so be honest:…” Ofc he’s got to BELIEVE that, so I hope your rapport is one that makes him trust you and feel expressing himself to you. If he’s on guard or you have a history of ambushes or trap questions, ur not getting an honest answer.
