I need advice from any guy or girl who can help. How do I get my bf to feel like cleaning up b4 I come over? We’ve been dating for 3 months but I miss the phase where people want to impress their partner. I don’t want to nag him or tell him.

Communication is the most fundamental building block of every good relationship. Tell him you feel less comfortable when the place is dirty, tell him straight up, and tell him soon. From this point forward, every time the place is dirty and you have yet to tell him, it is your own fault that the space makes you uncomfortable.

Straight up tell him to clean. Or offer to clean with him. Don’t clean for him.. then you’ll turn into his maid

You already set the standard by positivity reinforcing to him that you'll still show up either way

Lol had one of my girl friends come over for something and she did my dishes while I was grabbing her things. I about lost it lol. Told her thanks but seriously don’t do my dishes. She knew what I meant thankfully but that shit actually gave me anxiety 😂

But the dirty floors, laundry, dirty counters, etc. make me feel less at peace there. If i could I would sneak in at 2 am and clean up & put nice warm candles around but that’s weird.

Makes me feel like a slob if anything is in there at all and then a friend comes over and does it for me? 😂 if I want a woman half as amazing as she is I gotta be on top of that shit.
