Yes. Romance/intimacy are arguably the single biggest changes from a friendship to a relationship, and to me sex is a way of expressing that. On the other hand I’m also very anti-hookups, so some other people will not feel the same way

My libido goes off like crazy when I’m in love with someone. Usually I’m fairly horny, but I don’t mind just taking care of myself. When I fall in love I specifically want to sleep with them and taking care of myself doesn’t satisfy that impulse.
