There’s been some interesting studies that basically found that women tend to rank only about 20% of men in the ‘top 50% attractiveness’, and the other 80% in the ‘bottom 50%’. So it could be that you are a 7, and the 6s and 7s are shooting their shot with you, but you only see them as 4s because you have a distorted image of what a 6 or 7 ought to be.
