I think people are just spending less time interacting in person and more time interacting online so all types of in person interactions are more difficult, including shooting your shot. I think the “if I speak to a girl she’s gonna call me a creep and say ew and tell me to kill myself” type shit is completely invented, that doesn’t really happen in real life unless you’re genuinely acting like a predator

I mean me personally I’m getting an arranged marriage down the line so I don’t really approach women in any romantic way, but I also don’t approach women in general so I don’t make them uncomfortable

They won’t call you a creep to your face, they will complain about you to a third party because because they don’t feel comfortable expressing disinterest to a guy they don’t know directly. That has been my experience.

So many dudes legitimately tell me stories (on this app) like “the last time I tried to say hi to a girl she’s said ew and walked away”. I’m just saying that shit doesn’t happen. Either the guy did something weird he didn’t mention, he’s exaggerating the girls response, or the girl is truly an exceptionally rude person. That type of scenario just isn’t realistic
