like yesterday i texted him at 8pm and 10pm. and i know he was busy and didn't get home until 1am but he didn't reply to me and no goodnight (e) i feel so dumb for overthinking but why does it feel so bad

I have been this dude. I just hate texting - I have never been good at it, and it never feels like I’m actually interacting with a real person. If your boyfriend is anything like me, him not regularly texting you doesn’t say anything about you, only the medium of communication. Maybe try calls instead

the breakup conversation started when he forgot my birthday. I really wasn’t feeling like he valued my presence in his life because he never wanted to talk to me. I straight up asked him if he still wanted me because he wasn’t acting like it and he said no

I can’t say that this is definitely where your relationship is going because you’re obviously different people. if the was he’s acting doesn’t make you feel valued you should examine that and talk to him about it
