I’ve worked with blue collar, service workers, all the way up to the multi-PHD people and there’s this gap between a street smart person with a GED and the multi-PHD’s that has shown me these certifications mean little to nothing. The main people who care about them are insurance actuaries who are currently up to their eyeballs in recalculating “risk” based on faulty financial projections.

Considering that we’re living the the equivalent of the the pre Great Depression no I don’t think so. He maybe lucky to have a job in the next few years if trends continue.

Not in this economy, the job market is ass. If he’s got the degree or cert and can’t get a job that’s one thing, if they DONT have degree/cert then yeah that may be bad

I dont really have a problem with people choosing to work over higher education. Its fine to have a dating preference for it tho
