How to convince my guy friend that he should seek support from others beside me? He says I’m the only one he can talk to but it makes me uncomfortable, especially because he’s codependent. He refuses to see a therapist but I think he needs it. Help

He tells me he has a tendency to form “obsessions” on crushes, including me. Like, he makes them his life purpose. He really wanted to date me, but also didn’t want to because I’m ace. So he keeps confiding in me that he’s “obsessed” but doesn’t know what to do or how to handle it

I don’t want to abandon him over this, it’s not like he’s a stalker or anything. He wants to be my friend, but can’t figure out his identity without me, but I keep trying to explain that I can’t do that for him, he has to figure it out himself
