Do you believe that women often exaggerate their period symptoms or do you think that it is genuinely a really hard thing to go through? I have PMDD and my bf I feel like just doesn’t believe me when I say it completely wrecks me mentally every month.

Given the fact that most women I know carry advil or some type of pain killer in their purses I’m inclined to believe it rlly is that bad

I dunno, I mean I heard it depends on the woman weather periods are painful as fuck to at best a slight annoyance.

1. Depends on the woman 2. Since its a reality of life I feel like most women negotiate life and their periods out of necessity so its obv not impossible to function 3. SOMETIMES i think SOME women embellish the actual pain they feel to dodge certain responsibilities or to manipulate people into doing thing for them. But again ik this isn’t all women by a large margin

I don’t think it’s exaggerated in most cases, it really is that bad. I knew this one girl who would sit down in a wheelchair and claim it was because of her period, and my girlfriend informed me that sitting down does not, in fact, make it better. But that’s the exception to the rule

I won’t judge you regardless of your takes. I promise. I just want to understand how men feel about this. I wish there was a way for us to show you what it’s like, so you can really feel it and see for yourselves. It can be mild for some people but seriously terrible for others. :/ my PMDD caused me to attempt unaliving last year.

I feel like: A. It depends significantly on the person B. It happens sufficiently regularly that most people must learn to deal with it and still be relatively comfortable and productive C. It’s probably unpleasant and annoying

Thankfully I have! That’s how I got diagnosed. We’re still figuring out what might help.
