Men are, as a women. I mean they’re a lot bigger than us.

Approaching women is something we’ve been told not to do for a decade now

asking out my ex-bf was infinitely more terrifying than asking out my ex-gf but also i was friends with my boyfriend before we dated, so i had something to lose there

The original comment my entire argument was based on mentioned that women have been told not to do it by men but I unironically don’t know one case where that’s happened

Yes, twice in high school. The first time, she literally sprinted away anytime she saw me afterwards and told the whole grade. The other time, the girl laughed, told her friends, and they proceeded to make fun of me for a couple years afterwards

Like... yeah. It's always something like "why can't men understand that when my headphones are in, I don't wanna talk to them" and so... what else am I supposed to assume?

Literally like what? Men have always been the ones to approach more than likely

Yes but thats not because they prefer it that way😭 its just because women never approach them so they have to be who makes the move. Theres a whole demographic of women who refuse to approach anyone so if you want one of those then you’re forced to make the first move.

Yes, but there’s a reason it’s been done for so long lol

Thats because in traditional relationships back when men held all of the power women generally got chosen by a man who wanted her and the family just shipped her off. It’s not because men told women not to shoot their shot💀

That’s not what I meant lol. That was in the 50s , men still approached when women had more rights

In the 50s my grandmother was unironically handed over to her husband, my great grandfather who was 15 years older than her. Literally happened when they got married in 1956
