As a woman, when I was being sa’d on one of the main streets of my campus, it was a guy that helped me get away. So I wouldn’t say that it doesn’t happen, it just probably feels more common depending on where you are/who you’re with

i work at a busy grocery store near a freeway and transit station (so kinda sus at times) and i see what you're talking about all the time. it's just learned behavior for most women to jump to defend other women. men don't seem to be as invested in defending strangers cuz i don't think they relate as much to that social dynamic - if somebody grabs a man's butt against his wishes he's probably gonna swing, not call over his boys
