I messed up things with a great guy because I didn’t realize we were exclusive, I didn’t cheat but I went to a bar with my friends which I guess “looked bad”. Is there anything I can do to get him back or just give him space?

1. If one of yall doesn’t know you’re exclusive, you’re not exclusive. Communication is common sense and required for a relationship 2. Going to a bar doesn’t mean anything, he’s just controlling 3. He’s also not a great guy

There was never really a discussion besides him saying he’s more of a staying in person rather than going out and that guys only go to the bars to find girls. Meaning I guess he thought I only went to find guys. I’d be willing to have more of a convo about it and stop going to the bars but he got mad and is completely ignoring me now. Should I just give him space?

I just don’t believe his perspective r has any merit practically. Most ppl go to the bars to have fun with their friends

Thank you I felt crazy but if we’re not dating yet I didn’t see why I should just always say no to my friends asking to go out. I think it’s because he doesn’t go out a lot he doesn’t understand the idea of going to bars just to hangout with friends

COMMUNICATION - Sounds like his inability to communicate got you into this little mess, and if you genuinely think he’s worth your time, you communicating will be the only thing to get you out
