I’m from Boston, and I genuinely have a fantasy about have an NYC sports fan gf. We watch Red Sox vs Yankees or Jets vs Pats or Knicks vs Celtics together and get all in each others face but in a loving way and then one team wins and then we have hit, mildly angry sex

I guess it could be the same with Philly. And maybe it could be Rangers vs Bruins too. Not as big a rivalry imo, more like two teams that everyone hates so Bruins fans hate the Rangers and vice versa

It’s entirely possible it would be horrible lol. I fucking HATE the Yankees. Like I’m from Boston, but live in Chicago now. In my opinion the biggest rivalries in American sports are Bears vs Packers, Michigan vs Ohio State, and Red Sox vs Yankees. It’s totally possible that I couldn’t stand it, but idk I’ve had Yankees fan friends, it’s probably more about how they can handle me hating their team so much. But if she’s from New York I’m sure she can handle it cause everyone hates them

Just like being from Boston I can handle the shit talk cause everyone hates on Boston teams. Also, sorry about the Vikings they seem like a painful team to root for. I’m also kind of a Lions fan, just cause Megatron was my favorite player growing up, so I don’t love the Vikings, but I’m a big fan of Jettas and they are probably my favorite from the NFC north beside Detroit
