I just found out I have high cholesterol/triglycerides. I am only 22 so was pretty shocked! Any tips and suggestions on how to lower them, maybe someone here who got a similar diagnosis and was able to get their levels down

Diet and exercise. Don’t go crazy and do fad diets that won’t work, restrict calories to 300 below what you usually would eat (basically get a black coffee instead of smth fancy) and eat less processed foods. Also increase ur fiber intake.

Try to avoid food with high amounts of fat. Do you know if this is from your diet or if it’s genetic? If it’s high because of your genetics it wouldn’t be a bad idea to start considering meds
