look at myself in the mirror and see (1.) the pump/progress. get addicted to the satisfaction you get from improving. (2.) see what you want to improve still. theres something about seeing progress in one area but something you lack in another thats like well now its off balance.

Find workouts that are time efficient and that you enjoy and go at the same time everyday

Set goals for yourself. Seeing progress is what motivated me the most

Honestly I’d say skip the gym and just do calisthenics at home. I could never make the gym grind work but just doing a few sets of push-ups and sit-ups before I got into the shower every day worked for me. Just add a few each time it gets too easy

make a schedule/routine so you can stick to it. that’s the hardest part of the process. so try to use an app or something to come up with a workout structure and track progress. i used fitbod when i first started, but there are other options as well. just don’t pay for any of them the free versions were enough

try out new exercises/workouts and find what you enjoy! and don't feel bad about missing a couple days at the gym (or even a couple weeks) because you won't really lose progress and you can always get back into the swing of things. also it's better to take at least one rest day a week than going to the gym every single day (speaking from experience lol)

Gym isnt really an everyday thing unless you’re super big on cardio. I originally used it as stress relief then it became a self improvement thing i look forward to.

Find exercises that are fun. I don’t care if other things are technically more optimal, they aren’t better if you never do them. Stick to things that you want to do consistently and it’s so much easier

Find a gym you can walk to if you can. The process of starting my car is the hardest part.
